Zero Waste Events: Best Practices & Case Studies

Join us for the next STAR webinar!
Join us for our second educational webinar of 2017, just in time to get you in the Earth Day spirit! This free webinar will showcase best practices and real-life examples of how to run successful zero-waste events. Three different communities and one waste hauler will share experiences, advice, and best practices with attendees, which is particularly helpful as many communities are gearing up to host Earth Day events.

Jordan Fengel with the City of Georgetown will share his experience with creating a zero waste plan for their annual Red Poppy Festival, which draws an average of 60,000 people over two days. And Amy Kirwin will discuss her experience managing zero waste events within the college City of San Marcos.
